LUROP Provost Research Fellowship Award Recipient
Ariana joined the lab as a senior at the Quinlan School of Business, where she pursued her bachelor's in Information systems. She joined the lab as a LUROP Provost Research Fellowship Award Recipient and a student in Dr. Bacic's INFS395 Independent Study course. Ariana's research focused on Pie Charts. Her work is the first research project using lab equipment to collect human subject data. Ariana presented her work at Loyola's Undergraduate Research Symposium and published co-authored work at two international conferences (AMCIS 2022, MIPRO 2023). After graduating, Ariana joined Grainger as a Financial Analyst.

Provost Research Grant
Ines, as a recipient of the Provost Research Grant, conducted biometric research focused on the impact of domain knowledge in the context of Business Information Visualization. She led the first IRB-approved study to use UX&Biometrics lab's software and hardware while her grant assisted in the purchase of the GSR device for the lab. Ines joined the lab as a senior majoring in Information Systems and Marketing. Ines was awarded the IS Departmental Keys Award in 2021. After graduation, she joined Hyperscope Media.
Leah Silo

Research Assistant
Leah's interest in research resulted in the first student research collaboration with Dr. Bačić at Quinlan School of Business. Being a military veteran herself, Leah researched and co-authored work (AMCIS 2020 Conference Proceedings) focused on exploring opportunities, obstacles, solutions, and the impact of recruiting military veterans to Information Systems undergraduate programs. After graduating with a degree in Information Systems, Leah joined Mulesoft (Salesforce). She is currently an account executive with Google.
